BUPA made health insurance feel like something everyone could afford and more importantly fit their personal needs, acknowledging that no two people’s requirements are the same.
We cut through the ‘rainy day’ clichés making heroes of real people keeping healthy. We invited the general public to create their own versions of the ad in part to highlight the flexible nature of ‘Bupa by You’. To break through health insurance marketing clichés, we launched the campaign by making heroes of real people keeping healthy in real ways. However, using real people is nothing new. To make our audience genuinely feel like they had ownership of the campaign, we put it into their hands. By letting the general public interact with the brand, the campaign truly was ‘By You’ too.
