When members of the public see a warning poster about pickpocketing, they tap the place where their valuables are, sending a clear message to pickpockets lurking nearby. Our strategy was to bring pickpocketing into sharp focus without putting the audience at risk.  

We created ‘Putpockets’ a simple leafleting campaign with a remarkable twist. Instead of giving out    l leaflets, they were put directly into the passing public’s pockets and bags. The leaflets looked like valuable items and carried the message: If someone can get an iPhone into your bag, they can get one out.
